Event Review

The “AgiBot Interactive Introduction Session” was successfully held at Chung Sing Benevolent Society’s Lau Mui Hin Elderly Home. The event targeted elderly residents, using AI robots to interact with seniors, helping them learn about technological developments while promoting physical and mental well-being and active ageing.

The event specially invited Ms. Helen Tam to attend. Representatives from the Hong Kong Representative Office of the China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center Enterprise Alliance — Dr. Darren Zheng, Ms. Tracy Tang, Mr. Leo, and Prof. Linwen Ho — together with Dr. Boris Wong (President of Chung Sing Benevolent Society) and Mr. Jonas Fung (Fifth Vice President), joined the seniors in experiencing the warmth and joy of technology.

During the event, AgiBot presented a wonderful robot Tai Chi performance, showcasing the robots’ precise and fluid motion control technology. In the “Robot-led Healthy Exercises” segment, seniors followed the robots in simple, easy-to-learn physical movements, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Ms. Helen Tam also warmly expressed her care for the seniors and interacted with them affectionately, filling the venue with smiles and warmth.。

Through these interactive sessions, the seniors not only deepened their understanding of robotics and artificial intelligence but also exercised their bodies and minds in a cheerful setting.

This event successfully fostered the integration of technology and social welfare, allowing seniors to experience the care and convenience brought by technology. We thank all distinguished guests for their presence and support, as well as the AgiBot team for their professional arrangements, which contributed to the event’s complete success. We hope to organize more similar activities in the future, bringing technology truly into the lives of seniors and building a happy silver-haired community together.
